The Oracle PartnerNework (OPN) is seeking to develop a dynamic Web application-driven site to deliver an excellent training experience to its partners.We are seeking to build a unique data-driven site and require an excellent developer to work in an existing team on a project base.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Helps build development strategy, suggests best practice and way forward following analysis of currently integrated and functioning Oracle systems and databases
* Creates database-connected/dynamic Web pages through the use of ASP, JSP, PHP, XML
* Works with content and project managers and page template designers to code pages and simple applications using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and other client-side programming
* Documents the technical aspects of each project, writes maintenance instructions, and is responsible for professional code commenting and formatting
* Tests, debugs, and troubleshoots Web-based applicati
* Adheres to internal standards and methodologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum of a bachelor\'s degree in computer science or a related field or more than 1 year of experience in technical development and production of Web sites/applications.
* High degree of interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
* High level of skill in HTML coding, with a knowledge of MS IIS, Web development environments (Microsoft Visual InterDev, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.), Java, and/or .NET or similar. Knowledge of dynamic page generation (PHP, ASP, JSP, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML) and Internet protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, Telnet).
* Knowledge of Oracle systems is required.
* Experience with CVS and / or Visual SourceSafe or similar is a must. Experience with layered Photoshop files is a plus. The ability to suggest alternative layouts to templates (i.e., some design talent) based on dynamic rendering is a plus.
* Must be dependable, flexible, and able to work as part of a project team.
* English is a must.
