As a web developer for a network system sold world-wide, your tasks will be:
- Participate in the design and development of a web application that will interact with our network equipments;
- Write functional specs, develop features;
- Provide ideas and enhance the functionality;
Skills required:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline;
- Experience in web design & development, in designing user interfaces;
- Understanding of Ethernet and IP networking is a plus;
Detailed skills:
- Experience with CSS, HTML, DOM, Javascript, XHTML, XML, XSLT
- Very good knowledge of the AJAX web development technique;
- Good knowledge of the Object Oriented technique in Javascript;
- Experience with Ajax framework (Prototype, Dojo, ExtJS, etc);
- Good knowledge of CVS, SVN (or similar);
- Knowledge of at least one web-scripting language (PHP, ASP, PERL, etc);
- Knowledge of SQL and some experience with MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ MsSQL/ Oracle;
- Some knowledge of Java and JSF will be a a plus.
- Good written/spoken English;
- Good communication abilities - must be able to efficiently communicate and collaborate with co-workers.
Depending on professional background and experience, a competitive compensation package is offered.
