Requirements:
Excellent design and artistic skills;
Excellent communication skills � English language;
Ability to work and integrate well into a team;
Minimum 2 years experience in graphic design work for web (not print);
Fluent skills in modern versions of Photoshop;
Fluent skills in Illustrator or other vector graphics software (e.g. Corel);
Basic knowledge and understanding of CSS and HTML;
Experience with layout design on a grid system e.g. 960gs.
Nice to have:
Demonstrable experience in web based applications UI design;
A good understanding of UX and best practices;
A good understanding and knowledge of how to optimize graphic deliverables for developers to ensure best website load times;
In depth knowledge of file formats, png, gif, jpeg, creation of sprite graphics;
Experience in working with multiple language sites;
Demonstrable experience in creating brand identity for complete web presence from:
Website Front End;
User Dashboards / Control Panels;
Client administration user interfaces;
Multiple format icons;
Social web design including Facebook, Twitter, Google+ YouTube covers and deliverables.
Designing, developing and updating the web sites using graphic design skills;
Interacting with users to understand requirements;
Creating graphics, multimedia and design templates for web sites;
Testing new technologies for inclusion in web site design.
