RESPONSABILITATI

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the management and execution of all business activities of the respective warehouse.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for optimizing the performance of the operation by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities, providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce, executing, against customer requirements, operational performance.
Management and control of the key operational areas like storage, handling, customer service activities;
Continuous improvement of the warehouse activity including implementation of relevant measures;
Securing 100% customer satisfaction in the warehouse area;
Continuous verification of warehouse efficiency (key figures/cost control) according to client’s standards;
Continuous review and control of warehouse activities;
Ensuring the warehouse budget;
Supervision and responsibility for inventory taking (inventory control);
Development and maintenance of site policies and procedures;
Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's);
Ensure daily/weekly workload planning and volume forecasting, routines are accomplished (i.e. staffing, equipment, space);
Overall manpower planning for the warehouse;
Optimize accuracy, quality and space utilization -Facility Management;
Shift and handling capacity planning;
Warehouse operations supervision:
- incoming goods
- storage (product suited)
- order picking
- loading
Ensuring quality standards in warehouse/handling;
Manpower planning for warehouse personnel;
Subcontractor agreements:
Handling equipment
Lease personnel
Purchase and negotiations with equipment suppliers;
Maintenance of building;
Ensuring quality and maintenance of all warehouse equipment planning and maintenance, continuous development of equipment.
QIP supervision;
Time control blue collar workers;
Excellent cooperation, information and coordination with other operational and administrative departments and customers;
Selection and hiring of new warehouse employees in cooperation with DC Manager;
Integration, retention and development of blue and white collar employees in area of responsibility;
Effective leadership and management of the operational and administration teams;
Team building and development through succession planning;
Delivery of a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members;
Audits compliance in all operational areas;
Supervision and organization of Warehouse communication plan;
Excellent cooperation, information and coordination with the company, its Managing Director, the company and clients;
Create a culture of continuous improvement;
Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment;
Responsibility for security and risk management.


CERINTE

Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional-standard
4-5 years logistics industry experience (FSL-advantage)
3 years management experience
Budget execution
Objective setting
Key performance indicator management
Customer relation experience
People Management
Workload planning
Loss Management
Languages – English – advanced
IT- Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint), ERP systems
Project Management
Experience in succession planning & development of key managers/professionals
Finance/Profit Knowledge
Change management-experience
Knowledge of Romanian legislation
Preventative maintenance routines
