• Properly set up service station and area
• Prepare any needed garnishes for the shift
• Greet and welcome guests seated in your station or at the counter
• Engage guests in friendly conversation
• Proficiently utilize the point-of-sales system to key in drinks and food orders
• Properly handle cash, credit cards, traveler’s checks, and discounts
• Maintain a clean and organized work/guest area
• Has a high-level of organization, accuracy, attention-to-detail, and sense-of-urgency at all times
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow all uniform guidelines
• Take orders for drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and after dinner drinks throughout the course of the meal by utilizing standard HRC abbreviations
• Pick up and deliver orders in the bar and kitchen to guests at the table within prescribed time limits
• Check back a minimum of three times during the meal to ask if guests are satisfied, check for refills, give silent service (removing items, refilling, etc.), and suggestively sell additional items
• Efficiently present guest check at the end of meal
• Communicate with guests demonstrating confidence, encouraging guests to feel unique and special
• Entertain guests
• Assures the complete satisfaction of each and every guest
• Creates memorable experiences for the guests
