• Collect and manipulate suspicious and infected files
• Analyse the behavior of malware on different versions of Windows
• Identify and document malware behavior
• Detect malware's existence and behavior using real/ virtual machines and network analysers
• Create test programs for automatic analysis using scripting languages;
• Write C/C++ in house programs
• Communicate the results to the Virus Research Center
• C/C++ and ASM knowledge;
• i386 processor architecture;
• Windows platform: file system, registry, network configuration, security, etc;
• Network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, HTTP, ICMP, etc);
• Fluent written and spoken English;
• Experience in the following areas will be considered a plus:
o JavaScript and Visual Basic scripting languages;
o Windows scripting;
o Unix operating system;
• Assembler language.
• Self-motivated, intelligent, flexible, determined and professional;
• Writing and speaking communications abilities;
• Good team player.
