Administrates, operates and maintains equipments and applications for value added services:
VMS (Voice Mail Service);
SMSC (ShortMessageServiceCenter);
WHC (Who Call);
NFM (Notify Me);
MMSC (MultimediaMessageServiceCenter);
Other systems for Value Added Services;
Monitors and ensures secure access to the administered systems and applications.
Ensures data security by periodic back-up.
Executes periodic maintenance according to vendor’s specifications.
Interface with the providers in order to report and solve the problems according to procedures that have been agreed with providers. Gives technical support in case of provider’s interventions.
Monitors and solves alarms and technical issues when they appear related to the administered systems and applications.
Monitors systems and applications’ performance and acts proactively to ensure their functionality.
Ensures installation of new applications and upgrades of existing ones or provides technical support whenever these are performed by third party vendors
Executes work orders and pursues their effects.
Analyses and solves customer or other offices or departments complaints with respect to the administered systems and applications.
Solves urgent issues as well as night or week-end intervention.
University degree in Electronics, Telecommunication or related fields;
Experience in administrating Unix – minimum 1 year;
Experience in administrating data base (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase) – minimum 1 year;
Good knowledge of GSM technology;
Good knowledge of English;
Good knowledge of operation systems and the following applications: SUN Solaris, Unix, Windows, MS Office etc;
Knowledge of data base management: Sybase, Oracle, MySQL etc;
Knowledge of data and telecommunication network
Analytical thinking;
Ability to gather, synthesize and present information
