BitDefender Romania is looking for a user experience designer to join our team in Bucharest. We need an individual who’s passionate for user centered design and who is able to deliver desirable, consistent and easy-to-use designs for our user interfaces.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Creating and developing user-centered driven interfaces for offline and online applications
• Working together with other teams for continuous improvements of user interfaces
• Prioritizing and managing workload to adhere to critical project time lines in a fast-paced environment
• Developing new approaches to complex design problems and conveying ideas in a tangible form
• Using your strong communications skills to work with Product Management and Engineering teams and to clearly express your ideas

Job Qualifications:
• Formal Education in Graphic Design, Digital Media
Design, Interface Design or other visual arts
• Experience in designing user interfaces (at least 3 years)
• Solid knowledge about principles of user centered design
• A flexible, creative and responsible personality
• Usability Engineering/HCI knowledge a plus
• Adobe Photoshop Guru
• HTML/CSS and JavaScript Expert
• Knowledge of prototyping tools such as Flash a plus
• Knowledge of AJAX and Web 2.0 design patterns a plus
• Expert knowledge of interaction, layout, and information design
principles, as well as a critical eye for detail
