Position Summary
Customer Experience Management group is looking for a user experience designer to design web and desktop applications. You will be working with an internal UX team and others in the Information Technology group, designing custom applications for various areas of Adobe’s business: HR, Sales, Finance, Customer Care, etc. The position is responsible for research, documentation, workflows and user interface (UI), design and delivery of specs and comps, using established visual guidelines and patterns
Responsibilities:
* Understands and learns the feature areas and domains that relate to the project at hand
* Performs user research using a variety of methods, including interviews, observations and usability studies
* Express design concepts at a high fidelity in Fireworks, Photoshop, and/or Flash
* Understands the product/domain life cycle and is familiar with the different phases in the process
* Collaborate & Leverage the Knowledge of Others - Shows the ability to work well with others.
* Work closely and effectively with the Business Units, Product Management and Engineering
* Willing to constructively receive, weigh, and integrate diverse feedback from a multi-disciplinary team
* Work effectively in a fast-moving environment
* Presents designs in a clear, confident, professional, and cogent manner
* Explain design rational for design decisions to a broad audience
* Strong Portfolio showing examples of work in application design, including research applied into final designs
* Experience with design of desktop software and web applications
* Experience performing user research, and making recommendations based on that research
* Experience with and understanding of Adobe technology (Flash, Flex, Air. LiveCycle a plus)
* Experience designing and/or working with enterprise software is a plus
* Strong Presentation and Communication Skills
