We are looking for a talented, creative software designer to join the Axway User Experience Team. As a member of the User Experience Team, you will contribute in multiple ways to enhancing the user experience of our products, which are used by some of the largest organizations and enterprises in the world.
- Design User Interfaces for existing or new products
- Write UI Design specifications
- Assist in the preparation, running and/or analysis of usability studies
- Defining UI concepts and paradigms used by prototyping with various granularity (Paper prototype, low-high fidelity)
-Build low-fidelity user interface prototypes using appropriate tools (ex. Visio, PowerPoint, Axure)
- Build high-fidelity user interface prototypes using appropriate technology (ex. html/css/javascript, Flex)
- Assist in UE Team projects (ex. Information Architecture maps, UI Standards, wiki/portal updates)
- Contribute to: release planning, story writing (usability requirements) story review, iteration planning, daily stand ups (if necessary), iteration review.
- Experience designing User Interfaces, ideally for web-based software applications
- Experience prototyping UI Designs using standard tools (Visio, Dreamweaver, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Fireworks, or similar)
- Experience writing UI Design specifications
- Familiar with Usability Principles and User-Centered Design
-Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team player, self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Experience with Flex, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Eclipse a plus
