Summary Description:
The Treasury Manager will work closely with the Finance Manager and Chief Accountant to ensure management of the treasury function: directs the activities of the treasury unit regarding the collection, management and reporting of loans, payments, cash management etc. Plans, prioritizes, assigns, reviews and evaluates the work of his/her staff having two direct reports into him/her. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for control over bank accounts and banking services, and for the coordination of cash management. Reports into CFO and ensures the reporting of information for Finance/Accounting department and shareholders.
Essential Job Functions:
- Relationship Management with the bank:
- Follow up the bank loans according to the terms established in the contracts;
- Negotiating loan or overdraft terms with the banks,
- Negotiating contracts and agreements, review and payment of bank and related fees,
- Recording and administrating all Group‘s contracts; following-up accounts for clients, debtors, checking strictly the due-dates mentioned in the contracts,
- Cash flow on projects and link to project managers,
- Review and making budgets on projects for banks,
- Managing day to day cash and debt position of the group,
- Execute transactions on a timely basis and ensure all transactions are accounted for properly.
- Establish and document controls over money movements
- Assist in the development and documentation of policies, procedures and controls for treasury operations.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration as a minimum academic preparation/master’s degree, preferably in business administration, economics, finance, or risk management
- Relevant experience as Finance Manager - 5-7 years
- Must be aware of special tax laws and regulations that affect real estate business
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative thinker and problem-solver, applying analytical skills to business
- Proficiency in English
