Job scope:
- Organizing and managing the outsourced company transport and distribution activities
- Keeping the relations with transport suppliers and involved departaments
- Monitoring the performance of transport suppliers.
Job responsibilities:
- Monitors and optimizes the goods delivery routes according to the transport programme, contracts, legislation and internal rules;
- Deals with the carriers to fulfill the company transport needs
- Monitors the transport expenses and proposes methods to decrease the costs
- Works together efficiently with the Sales, Customer Service, Planning, Warehouse to deliver goods according to company needs and procedures
- Monitors and reports the performance of the transport suppliers through KPI¿s agreed within contracts; makes proposals to improve the KPI¿s and the methods of its measuring
- Respects and promotes the health and safety company rules and programmes regarding the transport and distribution of goods
- Education:University degree
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in transport or distribution field (preferable in FMCG)
Competencies and Personal Skills:
- Good knowledge of road transport & distribution market
- Able to work under presure, with deadlines and priorities, proactive approach
- A learner, willing to invest time and effort to improve his/her competences
- Very good analytical skills
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Disposed to assume responsibilities
- PC skills:Good PC skills ¿ Microsoft Office;
- Languages:English language, good level, both written and spoken
