- Implementing the transmission networks strategy and evolution, aligned with Group and Company strategy on following domains: PDH, SDH, Optical Fiber networks and any transmission equipment;
- Designing, implementing and then operating/maintaining new technology and architectures for transmission networks in global consistency with the evolution of the other parts or network layers to deliver convergent solutions;
- Implementing transmission solutions and rolling-out for technical department needs: radio 2G and 3G network roll-out, microwave and transmission backbone optimization, voice & data implementations, special transmission requests;
- Supervising the execution and the completion of transmission work orders;
- Managing and following-up under the manager s leadership technical bids, RFQs, vendor relationships, contracts and roadmaps on the activity domain;
- Offering support to commercial and IT for implementation of new solutions and services on transmission domain: support on Business Plans elaboration and follow-up, new services assessment and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of transmission networks architectures and technologies;
- Good knowledge of implementation, operation and administration of network management systems and solutions;
- Advanced level of English, any other language skills would be an advantage;
- University degree in telecommunication or related field;
- At least 3 years experience in telecommunication area (field experience required).
