As a Transition Manager your main responsibility will be to lead various process transitions end to end and act as a single point of contact.
What will your job be about?
• Covering end-to-end aspects from participating in RFP, Solution Identification discussions through the actual process transition till go-live / handover to operations team
• Supporting various process transitions end to end from the client environment to Genpact Romania – and act a single point of contact
• Working closely with the business leaders to understand their needs and suggest different solutions
• Planning and leading improvement projects during the process transition
• Following up the problem resolution and if necessary intervene until it gets resolved
• During the transition, cooperate with other teams for ensuring smooth operation after go-live
• Keeping contacts with vendors and service providers
• Deploying monitoring tools to ensure proactive prevention against system failures
• Working on standardization together with the customer in a heterogeneous environment
• Project planning – estimating timelines, costs, resource requirements and execution
• Monitor project, take corrective actions if needed, report on project progress
• Obtaining all internal and external approvals for solution design, tollgate documentation etc.
• Responsible for all transition deliverables e.g. Pricing, SOW, etc.
• Owning the budget of the transition
• Manage relationship with the customer stakeholders (CXO)
• Team management during transitions
• Travel availability over 70%
• Exposure to similar tools and technologies; familiar with any of the major ERP platforms (eg. SAP or Oracle);
• Relevant project management experience and budget control;
• Organized personality with attention to details, able to work simultaneously on different projects;
• Strategic and conceptual thinking
• Change management: leads and manages changes;
• Decision making: taking calculated risk in complex, ambiguous or risky situations to force an issue or set a direction
