RESPONSABILITATI

* Resource forecasting and allocation of systems engineers, database administrators, business analysts, project managers, and/or technical staff across several development Programs for new product development and maintenance projects.
* Guide Infrastructure team to move forward with technology for the benefit of the company as well as development programs and projects.
* Manage the support and maintenance of all development hardware and software tools for the operational readiness and effectiveness of the global development organization.
* Defining, leading, and auditing progress for tools and infrastructure processes and initiatives, as appropriate to project and product need.
* Technical ownership of outsourcing, contracting, and other third party relationships whereby resources are supplemented for development Programs.
* Ownership of Infrastructure standards-based compliance or process improvement efforts, as required by Development and as appropriate to project and product need.
* Ownership of the established Defect Management process as it applies to the Tools and Infrastructure organization.
* Ensuring guidelines and templates are in place for documentation and in use by the Infrastructure team.
* Establishing and cultivating collaborative, effective relationships with offshore peers to ensure adequate resource allocation to projects and maximum efficiency.
* Regular use/reporting of metrics for resource allocation, software defects, productivity, and efficiency.
* Coaching and mentoring individuals to ensure high morale and variety of projects as per their individual goals and career aspirations.
* Building resource competencies by training on domain (Technology / Business) based on program needs and Infrastructure technology improvements.
* Leveraging effective, clear, timely communication via all available written and verbal forms and in a global context as appropriate for the initiatives and locations involved.
* Ensuring commitments and progress to schedules remain clear, reasonable, and proactively monitored.
* Ensuring communication and status forums/formats make optimal use of time and effect, draw attention to important matters, and are effective mediums for managing initiatives and teams.


CERINTE

* Experience on a similar position is considered a plus
* Systems knowledge on Windows, Linux, and Sun Solaris
* Database knowledge on Oracle and SQL Server
* Knowledge on code repositories like Accrev, Subversion, Visual Source Safe
* Knowledge on Distribution of product, Electronic Distribution Software
* Possesses and exercises strong knowledge of successive stages of product development, planning tools and processes involved.
* Able to understand and implement testing processes accordingly.
* Able to define and design a system / test approach to satisfy specified requirements.
* Analyze and/ or create system design based Architecture by evaluating multiple architectures before one is selected. Knowledge of UML and OOAD.
* Exposure to different types of testing like application testing, install and deployment testing, API testing, Rules testing, Customization testing etc.;
* Exposure to performance testing; Exposure to setting up test environment and test lab; Metric and measurement
* Understanding of the test processes in relation to development process; Knowledge of testing concepts and life cycle models;
* Knowledge of test techniques and its application; Knowledge of Defect Management Process, Knowledge of usage of testing tools.
