Our client is a canadian multinational company, world-leading supplier of identification and border management software systems.
The successful candidate will be part of ID Systems software development team located in Romania. The successful candidate will be responsible with the testing of the software applications - part of the custom Identification software systems - assigned by the Software Development Team Leader.
Responsibilities will include:
¿Writing test documentation based on the design documentation and requirements document.
- Running the build scripts
- Unit testing
- Integration tests
- Bug (deffect) tracking database maintenance using a custom application
- Test cases database maintenance
- Performance testing
- Writing user manuals
- Test deployment scripts and installers
- Installation and configuration of system components (hardware and software) in the test lab
- 2+ years of software test planning and software quality assurance
- Windows 2000/XP/2003 system administration; Linux knowledge will be considered an asset.
- User knowledge MS Office or OpenOffice, MS Visio
- SQL knowledge
- Perl knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Rational test suites knowledge or other test tools knowledge will be considered an asset.
