Responsibilities:
Development test concepts, test programs and test hardware that are used in production, qualification and characterization of integrated circuits for automotive power applications.
Test Engineering responsibility throughout the product life cycle.
Management of R&D team:
Full disciplinary responsibility for people management and people development (~7 direct reports)
Recruiting, outsourcing management
Coaching of new employees
Skill development of employees
Major Tasks and Activities:
Ensure production test engineering project planning and execution in alignment with project management (in time/quality/cost; R&D KPI targets).
Implementation and timely transfer of component / module test programs to manufacturing sites.
Competitiveness of products - actively optimize test strategy, test concepts, DFT, DFY and DFM for cost and quality
Active management of test engineering development pipeline
Ensure efficient and competitive test engineering development infrastructure by appropriate know-how, methodology
Improvement of the development process.
Technical interface to internal development groups and project management
Technical interface to external development partners (technology development/ product lines/ business lines)
Education:
University Graduate in electrical engineering or physics
Experience / Knowledge:
This job is suitable for experienced applicants with hands on experience in measurement technology, IC validation and testing, good understanding of IC development flow and with team leader experience.
Required:
7+ years experience in the semiconductor and system manufacturer industry
People management experience as team leader
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong department management skills
Strong communication skills with regard to cross-functional and multicultural teams
Basic project management skills
Technical background:
Experience using Automated Test Equipment
Experience with IC laboratory verification/ characterization
Knowledge about automated measurements and validation of electronic systems
Knowledge of Design for Testability, -Yield and -Manufacturability
Other requirements / Foreign Languages:
Fluency in English is essential (multinational team, worldwide development/cooperation).
