Responsibilities:
· As a test engineer you are responsible for the development of test programs and test hardware
(Probecards and Loadboards) as well as their debugging on ATE systems. Test programs
developed will be used in production, qualification and characterization.
· Your responsibility includes definition and generation of test specification as well as production
ramp up support and yield optimization
· You will be responsible for the successful transfer of your test-packages (test programs and test
hardware) to Infineon’s worldwide production locations. This may require you to travel to such
locations.
· It is expected that you also develop innovative approaches for highly parallel testing, new
methodologies to improve coverage and test time, more efficient test program structures/libraries
to foster reuse.
· Working in a project based team you will be responsible to drive test engineering specific tasks
over all disciplines and pro actively interact with all members.
Education:
· Graduate of a technical university (Electronics, Computer Science, Automation etc.)
Experience / Knowledge:
· Experience with Visual Basic programming language
· Experience with mixed signal IC laboratory verification/ characterization
· Knowledge about automated measurements and validation of electronic systems containing
switches, power bridges, ASIC’s, System Basis Chip, System on Chip
· Experience in applied electronics and understanding of electronic schematics
· Knowledge of DfT (Design for Testability)
· Experience in automotive electronics like: communication (CAN, LIN, Flexray), power switches,
power bridges, diagnosis and control, digital specific tests (SCAN, IDDQ)
· Knowledge in Automated Test Equipments (specially FLEX from Teradyne) platforms and
automotive products will be a plus
Other requirements:
· Good command of English language
· The ability to enforce and constantly strive to achieve the highest quality results
· Team spirit and willingness to cooperate closely with international and cross-functional integrated
project teams
· Analytical thinking and problems solving skill
· Flexibility for business trips / training
