Job scope
The test data specialist is required to create and maintain test data used in different test phases of various Metro Group software applications.
Main responsibilities:
• Creating re-usable test data generation / maintenance facilities via scripting / programming techniques and tools;
• Assisting the testing responsible in the preparation of estimates for test data generation and maintenance;
• Ensuring that all new data creation requirements are understood well and mapped down to database structures and schema;
• Ensuring data generated and maintained is of high quality and accuracy based on the requirements;
• Ensuring data created is consistent within the application or across applications;
• Continually monitor the process of data creation and propose improvement measures;
• Monitoring and coordinating the unit and regression testing of MMC application
• Creation and maintenance of scripts for automated testing and performance testing.
Profile:
Education:
- University degree in Information technology or relevant experience
Abilities & Competencies:
• Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL
• Experience in application testing
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT, XSD technologies
• Excel and VBA skills would be advantageous
• Good English language skills
• Good analysis / test analysis skills;
• Team spirit and willingness to cooperate closely with international and cross-functional integrated circuit development teams
• Attention to details;
• Good communication skills;
• Able to work with limited supervision, and to plan own work;
