- Follows the opportunities and projects from the client in the client¿s definitions phases & specifications elaboration;
- Prepares technical and commercial offers during bidding and evaluation processes.
Most of these projects are integrated projects in the following domains: transportation (roads, highways, rail), power utilities, oil &gas.
The tendering engineer is responsible for the offer preparation, ensuring the following steps:
- Correct translation of customer specific requests
- Preparing the technical proposal and quotation of the project
- Preparing the offer review meetings
- Integration of the final offer documentation
- Providing technical and commercial support during offer presentation
In the offer preparation activity the tendering engineer should be able to:
- Develop and manage business relations with key suppliers and subcontractors to be involved in specific parts of the project
- Manage integration and evaluation of partners/suppliers
- Manage multiple systems integration into a functional technical solution
- Promote the Alcatel solutions to the clients
THE JOB IS LOCATED IN BUCHAREST
- Technical university degree, (Telecommunication and Electronics, Automatics, Electrotechnic, Transports, or equivalent experience) with proven experience in specific systems for the following utility domains: energy, oil & gas, transportation (road, highways, rail), related research institutes etc)
- Knowledge of telecommunication, automation, monitoring and surveillance systems.
- Previous project management/operational experience in turn key telecommunication or utilities projects.
- Marketing and sales experience is a plus.
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Visio
- English - advanced. French is a plus.
- Very good communication skills
- Availability to travel.
