Adecco Permanent Placement, for its client, a prestigious multinational construction company, is looking for a Tendering Manager.
The Tender Manager will be responsible for providing effective and proactive management to the bid/tendering team to ensure Bids are achieved in a timely, efficient manner and to the required level of quality.
To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates with solid experience in a Bid/Tendering Management role, who possess ideally broad experience across various domains.
Key responsibilities:
Take immediate ownership of the tender process;
Plan, co-ordinate and manage the entire bid process;
Facilitate the development and completion of proposals by gathering technical, commercial, financial information from a wide range of sources(third party suppliers, contractors, designers, etc) in a structured manner;
Assess and manage the risks to ensure that they are addressed within the bid strategy;
Act as key point of contact for both clients and Bid Team ;
Setup and manage appropriate bid data base and share critical information which could support other bids;
Timely management of tender activities
Work closer with the Project Manager’s team throughout the bid process;
Strong Bid Management experience (at least 5 years of experience);
Results focus person;
Consistent knowledge of the market prices;
Technical background and good understanding of the construction design;
Experience of working on multiple bids
(Retailers bid might be a plus: Penny, Lidl, Praktiker type);
Broad experience across various domains;
Excellent written and oral presentation skills;
Ability to work under extremes of pressure;
Excellent time management and ability to prioritise a busy schedule and workload;
Highly organised and with a keen eye for detail;
Team player, demonstrate a positive attitude to lead and motivate others
