Scope: Preparing the technical and commercial offers for optical transmission systems SDH / DWDM as well as optical network design.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for the offer/tender preparation, ensuring the following steps:
- Correct translation of customer specific requests
- Prepare the technical proposal based on the company’s product solutions portfolio
- Handle the quotation of the project
- Handle the offer review meeting
- Integration of the final offer document
- Provide technical interface with the customer
In the offer preparation activity he/she should be able to develop and manage effective relations with the technical support team, with the sales managers and key suppliers and subcontractors to be integrated in specific parts of the project
- Technical university degree (Telecommunication and Electronics, Automations and Computers Science)
- Specific theoretical knowledge of voice and data networks:
- Fixed Public switched telephony networks, voice processing – technologies and protocols
- ISDN, NGN
- Transport Technologies (SDH, PDH)
- Broadband Access Technologies (ADSL, VDSL, SHDSL, PON)
- Data networking principles and architectures (ATM, Ethernet, IP)
- Already acquired experience in the networking design and/or implementation is a plus
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- English – advanced. French is a plus.
- Good communication skills, customer oriented
- Team player
- Problem solving attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Self-learning and well organized person
