The tendering engineer prepares the technical and commercial offers for integrated communication and automation solutions and services for non-telecom customers. The domain includes communication network solutions, security and surveillance, command and control systems. The solutions managed are built for customers within Transport, Energy and Governmental fields: railways, highways, electricity, oil&gas entities, governmental organizations.
The project engineer is responsible for the offer/tender project, ensuring the following steps:
- Correct translation of customer specific requests
- Preparing the technical proposal, based on the integrated solution design and dimensioning
- Handling the quotation of the project
- Handling the Offer Review Meeting
- Integration of the final offer document.
In the offer preparation activity the project engineer should be able to develop and manage business relations with key suppliers and subcontractors to be involved in specific parts of the project
- Technical university degree, (Telecommunications and Electronics, Automations and Computers, Electrical Engineering, Engineering)
- Experience in communication network solutions and architectures;
- Experience for control and supervision system solutions, SCADA;
- Consistent knowledge of communication networks, technologies, protocols, data acquisition and processing systems, integrated supervision and control solutions;
- Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- English – advanced. German/French is a plus;
- Good communication skills;
- Team player;
- Problem solving attitude;
- Ability to work under pressure, extended hours and to meet deadlines.
