Preparation of technical and commercial offers for Narrowband and Broadband Access Networks.
The tendering engineer is responsible for the Management of offer elaboration process, ensuring the following steps:
- Correct translation of customer specific requests;
- Preparation of technical proposal based on Alcatel-Lucent product and solutions portfolio;
- Handling of the project quotation;
- Integration of the final offer documentation;
- Assurance of technical interface with the customer during solution definition and offer presentation, clarification, defense phases;
In the offer preparation activity the candidate should be able to develop and manage effective relations with the corporate technical support teams, with the sales managers and key suppliers and subcontractors.
- Technical university degree (Telecommunication and Electronics, Automations and Computers Science)
- Specific theoretical knowledge of voice and data networks:
- Fixed Public switched telephony networks, voice processing – technologies and protocols
- ISDN, NGN
- Transport Technologies (SDH, PDH)
- Broadband Access Technologies (ADSL, VDSL, SHDSL, PON)
- Data networking principles and architectures (ATM, Ethernet, IP)
- Already acquired experience in the networking design and/or implementation is a plus
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- English – advanced. French is a plus.
- Good communication skills, customer oriented
- Team player
- Problem solving attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Self-learning and well organized person
