RESPONSABILITATI

Telesales representatives work as part of a sales team. They contact customers directly by telephone to make sales or support field sales representatives by setting appointments or qualifying prospects.
An effective telesales representative builds repeat sales through strong customer relationships by focusing on customers’ wants and needs, rather than using high-pressure sales techniques, according to the sales training firm
Telesales representatives carry out important customer service duties.
They call customers to check their details and update contact records.
They also let customers know about new products or promotions that are relevant to their needs or preferences. If customers have queries about delivery or product quality, telesales deal with the inquiries. They may also contact customers after a sale to check that they are satisfied with their purchase.
Customer service calls help to improve customer relationships and increase customer retention.

Telesales representatives must have excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice and a friendly rapport with customers. While they may work from a script, telesales reps must also have the ability to be flexible and creative in dealing with customers. They must represent the company in a positive light at all times; this calls for optimistic people who aren't easily upset and who naturally like working with others.

Sales representatives must be persuasive and highly motivated to make sales. Since it is often necessary to establish a relationship with a client before a successful sale, they must also be patient and persistent.

Telesales representatives are required to input sales data into a computer while on the telephone with a customer, so keyboarding skills are required.
