Install, Configure and Test company¿s turnkey (bundled hardware and software) products for the customers
- Conduct Training to help customers use these products.
- Work with product support specialists to resolve installation and quality problems.
- Report to the designated Project/Program Manger.
- Deliver the assigned activities on time and within the budgeted effort-estimates.
- Be responsible for the implementation schedule and milestones for the assigned activities.
- Identify and escalate any issues that may affect the successful implementation, enhancement and/or integration of the solution, to the designated Project/Program Manger.
- Maintain appropriate project documentation & records
Requirements
- 3+ years work experience in telecom domain
- Hands-on experience in developing call-processing and messaging applications in GSM/GPRS
- Thorough knowledge of MAP, ISUP, IN, CAMEL, Network Elements such as HLR, VLR, SMSC, GMSC
- Must be familiar with wireless network infrastructure
- Experience with Unix (Solaris of HP-UX) server-side system administration tools and shell scripting
- Knowledge of Oracle
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and scripting languages such as PERL will be an added advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and analytical skill
- Must work within a team environment in a collaborative mode
- Job involves 70% (or more) international travel for project implementations
- Fluent in English
