RESPONSABILITATI

In this increasingly deregulated and competitive market, the primary purpose of the Telecom Consultant is to successfully implement Oracle Applications and Technology to our extended EMEA Customer platform interested in Oracle offerings and solution. That could involve defining entire systems architectures, creating innovative solutions, or re-engineering existing applications.

As part of an EMEA team responsible of Telcommunications consulting across the region, the Consultant will be responsible of his/her delivery of projects on site or off-shore. During projects, the Consultant will report to the Project Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Influence and implement Best Practices in Telecomunication
Define standards of technical and business performance
Implement and deliver Oracle Applications and Technology on various customer projects in EMEA
Develop Oracle offerings and solutions
Transfer Knowledge to local resources across EMEA
Assist in producing bids and proposals for consulting business


CERINTE

Either hands-on SIP (RFC3261) or hands-on Parlay/ParlayX skills
J2ee programming
Experience of fixed or mobile telecommunication systems (working with or for a telecoms operator ideal)
Good knowledge of IP protocols, NAT, FW etc. preferable
Understanding of RTP and SRTP preferable.
Presence type applications experience preferable.
Linux and/or other unix skills preferable
Oracle Application Server or JBOSS experience preferable
Experience working with databases preferable
Good communication skills
Willingness to travel
Good troubleshooting skills
Self-motivated
University degree preferably in Business or in Computer Science
Fluency in English. One other European language is a plus
