American Internationalization and Localization Company is hiring for its Romanian branch Desktop Publishing Specialist(s)
- Review the US design for adequacy in the target markets,
- Evaluate time and resources,
- Adapt the US design and layout to the target markets,
- Prepare files for translation,
- Layout/typeset the translated material,
- Edit illustrations,
- Assemble all components of the localized material in a final output,
- Perform QA for the DTP of the localized material.
- A multicultural approach to multilingual DTP issues,
- The habit of working independently,
- Good organization skills,
- Good communication skills,
- Familiarity with DTP and graphic tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress on the PC and Mac platforms,
- Knowledge of typographical conventions and design particularities in various target countries,
- Familiarity with technical issues of multilingual DTP,
- Working knowledge of foreign languages.
