¿ Responsible for overall product development leadership and managing software product development team
¿ Responsible for leading the engineering budget process, planning, resource loading, goal setting and measurement.
¿ Ensure that global processes are adhered to by all development team members
¿ Specializes in Software process improvement initiatives, with a focus on Software Metrics and quantitative techniques.
¿ Works closely with other departments to scope products and projects in order to meet business requirements for functionality, reliability, performance, and time-to-market.
¿ Work collaboratively with the architecture team to ensure all developed applications seamlessly integrate into the technologies suite.
¿ Manage the software quality assurance process
¿ Demonstrate a strong overall executive presence and the capacity to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels within the organization (internally and externally)
¿ Work with leadership team to establishes long term R&D objectives in concern with overall corporate strategies and objectives.
¿ Oversees R&D staff endeavors to develop and produce products that will maintain and improve the organization¿s competitive position within the marketplace.
¿ Provides technical guidance in the areas of new product development, specifications and product maintenance throughout the organization.
¿Bachelors degree in Engineering or Applied Science; Master's degree in business or technical area preferred.
¿ Fluent in Romanian and English
¿ Ten to fifteen years related experience in research, development and management of significant products and development processes including experience in designing, testing and delivering enterprise software applications; 3 years technical management experience.
¿ Experience background must include:Real Time Systems, High Availability Strategies, Scalable Systems, Business Intelligence (optional, but preferred)
¿ Experience with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
¿ Experience managing complex projects including OEM and end-to-end product development.
¿ Strong business and technical vision
¿ Strong leadership skills with a minimum organization size of 50 people
¿ Proven results-oriented person with a delivery focus
¿ Experience with Java, C++, XML, Web Services, J2EE, relational databases, Struts, Ant, CVS, handheld devices
