Role:
The Technical Writer will plan, create, maintain, and deliver communication materials for internal and external clients, on-line help systems and user documentation. This position aims to help users / clients acquaint with the software products produced by our R&D Lab.
Responsabilities:
- Write user documentation and context-sensitive help systems;
- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology;
- Study drawings, specifications and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail;
- Collecting, analyzing, and organizing source material, including industry standards;
- Communicating with R&D staff for technical information;
- Writing product documentation, including conceptual overviews, procedures, and reference material;
- Submitting technical documentation to R&D staff for review comments.
Required skills:
- Degree in IT related, English, or equivalent field;
- 1-2 years of experience in writing and/or translating user and technical -ocumentation for software products;
- Strong knowledge of computer terms and Internet;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken;
- Analytic skills;
- Organized, able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks;
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Preferred skills:
- Ability to write, edit, and/or revise a range of technical communications from specifically compiled raw data;
- Skill in collecting, analyzing, verifying and manipulating research data;
- Self motivated, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure.
