RESPONSABILITATI

Function as primary customer contact for all incoming assigned customer Service Requests (SRs), meeting Oracle's contractual, and technical problem resolution goals;
Provides and documents solutions, workarounds, and recreation steps to these service requests;
Recommends solutions to customer application questions;
Works on moderate to complex problems, both technical and functional, where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors;
Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results;
Proficient in multiple areas of technology and or programming languages and platforms;
Ensure that every customer contact is handled with a consummately professional attitude and the highest possible level of follow through;
Manage customer expectations through the Service Request lifecycle in accordance with Oracle's global standards;
Contribute to Knowledge Management content creation and maintenance.
Contribute to an environment that encourages positive interaction with customers and team members, information sharing, team-based resolution activity, cross training and an absolute focus on resolving customer cases as quickly and effectively as possible;
May travel to customer sites on rare occasions.


CERINTE

B.A./B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience;
Previous experience with software solutions in the Energy/Utility marketplace;
Functional knowledge of processes and systems for Utilities companies (Customer Care & Billing; Meter Data Management), is desirable;
Familiarity with Oracle Utilities (SPL / Lodestar) products, is a big plus;
Two or more years experience either as a system programmer, product developer or product support analyst;
Knowledge of client server and/or mainframe environment;
Experience working directly with external customers;
Highly collaborative style in working as part of a team;
Ability to manage relationships with and expectations of fellow team members and customers;
Customer orientation;
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application and technical problems;
Ability to obtain working knowledge of software;
Ability to multi-task and work on many client issues at once;
Ability to grasp new and/or unfamiliar technologies quickly;
Ability to clearly communicate with the customer and peers and gather detailed information about service requests being reported;
Ability to investigate and articulate system functionality;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
Other European languages is a plus.
