RESPONSABILITATI

The Customer Support - BEA BID organization provides technical assistance for all Oracle BPM (ex BEA ALBPM products) products to customers, partners, consultants and sales engineers, who are developing applications using the Oracle BPM suite of products and using Oracle BPM products in production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Apply strong technical, communication and customer service skills to resolve incoming technical Service Requests.
- Escalate to Support Management and/or Engineering when needed
- Perform on-call support and/or shift rotation as needed (not mandated)
- Log and track customer call information and troubleshooting activity in a central call tracking system.
- Assume ownership of assigned Service Requests, until a resolution is delivered.
- Utilize multiple internal systems as well as web content to research and apply known solutions.
- Learn the AquaLogic BPM product to be able to understand the customer problem.
- Interact with customers, partners, consultants and sales engineers.
- Diagnose the customer issues. Collect the information needed to troubleshoot the issue. - Create incidents in Oracle’s CRM (Siebel).
- Troubleshoot and solve simple issues.
- Work with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support in an effort to further characterize or resolve the issue as needed.
- Help develop knowledge transfer data based on troubleshooting experiences and general knowledge gained by working with the products
- Any additional requirements determined by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and analytical problem solving skills.
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple issues, contacts, companies, and internal groups.
- 1+ years of Java experience or solid knowledge of Java 2 is a must.
- Working knowledge of Databases (MSSQL, Oracle)
- General knowledge of Windows and UNIX operation.
- Experience with J2EE and Web applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of BPM, SOA tools is a plus.
