Job Description
Provisioning the development, SIT, UAT and preproduction environments;
Troubleshooting issues with the technical infrastructure components (middleware, databases, operating systems) and applications;
Managing release deployments on non production controlled environments;
Preparing release notes and provides technical and application expertise in preparation of the release run-book;
Performing practice deployments of all release components prior to go live date;
Maintaining and providing support for all tools used in the Software Development Life Cycle;
Contributing to problem and root cause analysis;
Contributing to continuous improvement of build, deploy and release processes and tools;
Creating, updating and maintaining environment and deployment documentation.
2-5 years of relevant work experience in IT;
Good knowledge of the technologies used – WebLogic, Unix (Solaris and Linux) and Oracle databases;
Experience in a technical specialist, application administration or technical support role;
Previous exposure to software development projects;
Experience with deployment, configuration and support/ troubleshooting of J2EE applications;
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities;
A passion for acquiring new skills and abilities;
Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders;
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
