The License Management Services (LMS) Team in EMEA has the responsibility to assure compliance of our customers and partners regarding their utilization and distribution of ORACLE software products. This is delivered in various programs, solutions & tools by field consultants spread among various EMEA countries.
The License Management consultants in the field are assisted & supported by the LMS Service Centre. The LMS Service Centre team is also responsible for the development and enhancement of the applied technical tools & systems. The Senior Technical License Management Consultant is a member of the LMS Service Centre.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reports to the LMS Service Centre Manager
* Works towards objectives set by the LMS Service Centre Manager
* Delivery of license & usage data to the country LMS teams
* Development & enhancement of LMS tools & Systems
* Acting as an analytical expert
* Works closely with the related local License Management Consultants
* Acting as an expert in Oracle License management technical tools
* Be recognized as senior technical LMS analyst
* Comprehensive & accurate research of customer contracts, Installed Base, and OKS (Reports & Original Paperwork)
* Research/develop and maintain technical LMS tools to measure customer¿s Oracle usage
* Provide front line support to the LMS team members on a EMEA basis
* Answer technical questions to organizations outside of LMS
* Maintain technical documentation for LMS tools and creation of training manuals.
* Have a good understanding of Oracle technology
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Advanced experience with the Unix/Linux and Windows operating system.
* Advanced experience with SQL and PL/SQL
* Unix Shell scripting and MS-DOS batch programming
* Familiar with Java programming is desirable
* Familiar with Oracle Applications and internal systems
* Good understanding of computer networks
* Strong documentation & communication skills
* Strong communication skills
* Be able to work both independently and resolve complex problems
* Strong attention to detail
* Solid analytical and decision making skills
* A degree in computer science or related field
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in the computer industry
* OCP certification is desirable
