We’re looking for a talented and experienced web developer with a strong background in web technologies to design and implement robust and scalable web applications / web sites.
We appreciate candidates with experience, enthusiasm and willing to voice their ideas, in order to integrate with a strong team working on exciting projects based on state of the art technologies. As members of our team you will take part in different important and challenging software development projects (national and international) related to various business areas: e-commerce, e-learning, CRM, intranet and corporate platforms, stock management, project management tools, turnkey customized software solutions.
Responsabilities:
The developer will be expected to maintain, backup and update web sites and also conduct website performance analysis and recommend ways to improve.
He/she will have to stay in-tune with the latest technologies and proactively identify areas for improvement and propose viable solutions to better the applications, procedures and technologies used.
Also the developer will have to design, code and test technical solutions while seeking optimal performance and structuring and maintain existing product features, resolve issues and fix application bugs.
The developer will be expected to complete coding assignments in a timely manner while working idependently or within a team and also collaborate with other technical team members to design, implement, quickly troubleshoot and resolve any critical issues.
As a project team member he/she will have to execute assigned tasks and communicate status to project manager according to progress against milestones, status, issues, risks and dependencies.
The developer will also have to follow and propose enhancement to existing development processes.
The developer will be expected to work closely with the design team for implementing the approved design theme and also with the Android and IOS development teams for the webservices.
Technical Skills:
- 2-5 years of technical development experience
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Solid working knowledge of PHP programming language
- Knowledge of JavaScript, JS Libraries like jQuery, Modernizr and AJAX procedures
- Experience with database stored procedures for MySQL and MSSQL
- Experience with HTML, HTML5, XML is a must
- Basic knowledge of CSS is also required
- Experience with CodeIgniter Framework and Webservices like SOAP is considered a plus
- Comfortable in Linux and Windows enviroment development
