MISSION:
- Individually coordinates all projects specialized in building construction;
- Technical and commercial responsibilities.
Nature of work/description of work:
Working environments are adapted to the project:
- spending most of a working day in the office, or traveling to the projects’ locations;
- working internally with a team OF PROJECT MANAGERS and externally with other engineering and scientific disciplines, contractors, project owners, architects, bankers, lawyers or government officials;
- meet deadlines and designed standards under pressure;
- constantly updating knowledge and skills to keep up with advancements in this rapidly changing field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- determines project requirements in terms of human resources, quality, time-schedule, equipment, and materials;
- estimates costs and monitor expenditures;
- applying technical knowledge of various construction methods to the basic principles of planning, organizing, financing, managing and operating a construction project;
- supervises the technical support provided by the project managers for personnel, contractors and construction workers;
- acquisitions;
- contract management and monitoring delivery terms;
PROFILE:
- PC Skills (MS-Office);
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management for large projects;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating a technical division;
- Estimation experience, site management experience (advantage);
- Flexibility, team spirit, professional attitude;
- Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage.
STUDIES:
- Technical degree Construction University – Building Faculty;
SKILLS:
- Management skills, leadership, strong communication skills;
- The ability to analyze data/info, review calculations and prepare cost estimates;
- Abilities required for the acquisitions process;
- The ability to think logically and solve problems;
- Team leader and team player;
- Ability to deal with authorities;
- Capacity for details;
- Driving licence: B;
- Loyal, highly motivated, organised.
