1. Customer Support activity in a production environment
- Provide quality customer service to Misys SaaS clients. Communicate solutions to internal and external customers. Convey customer feedback to management.
- Provide accurate information to the development team allowing them to correct the software without having to refer back to the originating customer.
- Analyze technical cases and provide a solution in accordance with agreed customer metrics in the following areas: connectivity (Citrix, FTP, VPN), Misys software configuration, third party software (Corba, Web Application Servers, .NET, market data, license mgr.) and database (mainly Oracle).
- Ensure efficient communication with ISP in charge of hosting the platform infrastructure
- Monitor the activity of the platform and take relevant action in case of alerts.
2. Consultancy/Premium Service activity
- Liaise with the clients to analyze, determine and document the customer's business requirements. Advise clients on test planning to ensure successful solution implementation
- Perform the technical upgrade of the Misys customer environment.
- Design, implement, monitor and maintain customer batches via a professional tool.
3. Architecture, Configuration and Software Engineering activity
- Participate to the design of the Application Service Provider (ASP) platform, at both hardware and software level. Perform specification, design, coding, testing and documentation in the fields of development, architecture and maintenance related to ASP platform.
- Tuning and optimization of the performances under the client platform.
- Handle Configuration Management and System verification.
- Develop and implement ideas to automate processes and tasks whenever possible.
- University degree: Computer Science, Mathematics, Business IT (ASE) etc.
- Knowledge of scripting languages: Perl, Bash, Windows scripting.
- Experience with UNIX operating systems; good Windows skills.
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle or Sybase.
- Fluency in English; good skills in French are an advantage.
- Knowledge of C/C++ represents an advantage.
