In this entirely customer-facing role, you will help customers to define and implement complex integrated solutions that optimize their technology to support and grow their business.
By assessing and understanding current and future technical and business needs, you'll build and present demonstrably best value HP solutions and partnering services, working hand in hand with our sales force and other specialists.
Having made the convincing case, you'll then have overall authority for the costing, scheduling, planning & tracking, terms & conditions and risk management of the project through its entire life cycle, delivering profit and total customer satisfaction.
As a leader in the application of standard project management technology and tools, you will also coach, counsel, mentor and motivate junior project managers.
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics
-ITSM and HP OpenView knowledge
-Min 2-3 years in the IT field, in a technical support function or in a network administration position
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Broad knowledge of computer technology and future trends. Technology knowledge: Client/server technology, networking systems and solutions, middleware concepts, IT security, web technologies, Storage/SAN management, internet, intranet, portal technologies
-Strong NT and Unix system administration skills and basic software development knowledge
-Service and solution knowledge in a specific solution or industry focus area
-Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision or guidance from others
-Mentoring and coaching ability
