The Service Engineering Group architect and engineer cutting-edge technology solutions to enable the Oracle OnDemand & Global Support Service businesses.
As Technical Architect you will be expected to push the envelope in terms delivering innovative technical solutions. This includes the ability to design and implement complex enterprise systems involving systems and data integration, etc. primarily involving SOA, J2EE, Web Services, XML and Oracle technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architecture, planning and design of complex system architectures;
Preparation of software architecture specifications & supporting artifacts;
Creation of architecture prototypes and technical proof of concepts
Develop thought leadership, advice and guidance on the approach to the design of systems architectures;
Working with teams to develop solutions leveraging enterprise technology platforms;
Defining automated and engineered solutions to support Oracle OnDemand & Global Support;
To be a champion for Service Engineering solutions within Oracle OnDemand & Global Support;
To develop and maintain direct relationships with the appropriate external and internal stakeholders;
Willing and able to drive cross-team and global projects and initiatives;
10 years development experience
6 years enterprise architecture experience;
Exposure to the following technologies: UML, WS-BPEL, XML; J2EE, Web Services;
Very strong knowledge of full project lifecycle - from initial consultation to delivery;
Experience of working with and leading large development teams;
Experience of working within structured methodologies (Agile, RAD, Waterfall);
Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree;
