Coordinates a total team of 6-7 people performing a variety of tasks (Payments/receivable processing, Treasury, Budgeting)
Cash, FX and Investments:
Review forecasts as prepared by Jr. Treasury Officer;
Address promptly any cash deficit/surplus;
Propose and execute investment plans for surplus cash with an aim to maximise investment income
Estblish, review and implement FX hedging strategies;
Bank relationships:
Monitor bank fees and minimise bank charges;
Maintain relationship with banks
Payments Processing:
Ensure all objectives for this activity are met (cycle time, accuracy etc);
Budgeting (to be given gradual responsibilities in this area)
Contribute to the development and periodic updates of the company budget
Ensure the maintenance of accurate models implemented in the company’s budgeting system
Forecast the budget impact, together with respective departments, for any sigmnificant events/business development and propose appropiate actions;
Investigate any significant variances, identify reasons and proposes actions;
- University degree in an economical field (preferable Finance-Accounting);
- Min. 3 years of working experience in a Financial Department; experience in external reporting is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Romanian tax (including VAT);
- Good knowledge of IFRS and RAS;
- Previous management experience is a plus.

- Able to follow deadlines;
- Able to work under pressure;
- Communication and leadership skills
- Good computer knowledge (excellent MS Office knowledge – Excel, ability to work with General Ledgers).
- English language – good level. German is a plus.
