Key Responsibilities:
-Overseeing the process of calculating the statutory tax returns
- Preparing the EU GAAP tax calculation and all tax reports required for EU GAAP and internal policy reporting purposes
- Liaising with external tax advisers, external auditors and local authorities for any tax related issues
- Providing leadership on tax optimization and any ad hoc tax related issues
- Serving as single point of contact in local fiscal audits.
Knowledge:
-Preferably tax advisor with proven track record
-Strong background and expertise in European VAT issues, CIT Issues, IIT Issues and Withholding Tax issues
-Knowledge in EU GAAP/IFRS
-Master degree in Tax/Finance and/or accounting
-5-7 years relevant experience in taxation, strong knowledge of legal taxation
-Experience in a ERP System will be a +. If Oracle:++
-Experience in a multinational company is not a must but will also be an asset
-Familiar with IFRS and IAS. Local European GAAP knowledge will be an asset
