Offering consultancy and presenting recommendations to international clients regarding compliance with Romanian taxation system on the following main areas: profit tax, VAT, income tax, etc.;
Assisting, evaluating and recommending optimal taxation approach for clients, covering tax compliance and tax planning solutions;
Performing due diligence work and other tax projects;
Assisting on local tax audits;
Building and maintaining a strong relationship with the clients, fiscal control authorities, banks, finance and administration;
Building, developing and supervising a team of tax consultants, juniors and seniors;
Being actively involved in direct contacts with prospective clients, promoting company’s services and developing the client base.
For one of our clients, a multinational company, leading provider of accounting, audit, tax and fiscal consultancy services, we are looking for a Tax Manager.
Requirements:
University degree in Economics;
CECCAR, ACCA or CAFR courses or membership would be an advantage;
Very good knowledge and experience in Romanian Accounting Standards and Fiscal Code;
Knowledge of IFRS;
Very good background in taxation practice (experience in financial consulting and tax advisory would be an advantage);
Fluent in English and German;
Proficient in MS Office applications;
Proactive and self-motivated person, open-minded, strategic thinker;
Customer oriented, proving the ability to understand different businesses and to propose personalized solutions;
Proven managerial skills.
