RESPONSABILITATI

The Tactical Telecommunications Analyst role will be responsible for managing all of the tactical functions related to the telecommunications procure to pay process, specifically those centered around the Telecommunications Expense Management Application (TEMA). The position will also provide support for the Strategic Telecommunications Buyer role.
The scope of activity performed by this role will cross over telecommunications inventory management, invoice entry, audit exception handling, supplier management, query handling, analytics preparation and functional-technical support for the TEMA application.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory Management: Create, maintain and end-date supplier accounts, sub accounts, products, negotiated cost savings and other details in TEMA.
- Invoice Entry: Enter and/or upload supplier invoices into TEMA; Conduct systemic audit against inventory including validation of tariffs, contract, subsidiary, taxes, new installs/disconnects, and slamming/fraudulent/non-Oracle charges.
Record cost savings and cost avoidance related to audits.
- Exception Handling: Responsible for first line management of invoice exceptions/discrepancies including calls/communications with suppliers; Escalate exceptions which cannot be resolved to the relevant Strategic Buyer.
- Supplier Management: Communication of employee terminations to suppliers for service disconnects. Perform periodic rationalization/optimization of supplier database.
- Query Handling: Serve in capacity as first line contact for all iSupport, telephone and email queries and communications (both internal and external). Escalate queries which cannot be resolved to the relevant Strategic Buyer.
- Analytics: Perform ad hoc reporting to support account reconciliations and other required analytical activity by the Strategic Buyer including delivery of services against contract, call traffic analysis (network topology), and management reporting. Report on key performance indicators and performance against service level agreements.
- Conduct reconciliation of account agings for wireless carriers to ensure accurate billing.
TEMA Support: Perform functional support for TEMA including creation and tracking of iSupport service requests for bug fixes and enhancements.; Meet with the business and AIT to ensure TEMA is delivering as expected. Manage user testing related to TEMA. Develop TEMA user documentation and conduct training.

KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- Leaving Certificate, University education preferred

EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working within an Accounts Payable or Telecommunications Procurement function a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of Oracle financials while not essential would be an advantage
