RESPONSABILITATI

Candidate will utilize a knowledge database and generalist technical skills in the areas of Systems Administration, Firewall and Network Support to complete request tasks and resolve tickets generated through automation. Candidates will posses at least 1 year of experience in the IT Outsourcing field, with exposure to server and network administration environment. Candidate will be needed to understand and manage problems utilizing defined Problem and Change Management Policies and Procedures according to ITIL framework. For more complex problems, escalates tickets to specialized technical teams. In addition to general knowledge, may develop progressively specialized knowledge of areas such as Unix, Intel, Mainframe, Firewall, Cloud Computing, Messaging, Storage and Networking. May work with other Subject Matter Experts and technical teams to update the knowledge database. Must work well within a team and possess strong written and oral communication skills. Must be able to operate independently in the absence of strict guidance to correct issues and improve the environment. Candidate will be required to work weekends in a shift rotation.

-Sound knowledge of UNIX and Network (Cisco) command line parameters
-Windows 2003 Server Operating Systems
-Microsoft Active Directory 2003
-Networking (TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP)
-Excellent troubleshooting skills
-Excellent research skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Technical documentation skills
Desired Skills:

-Cisco network equipment knowledge (CCNA level)
-Citrix
-TSM backup technology
-Any Microsoft, Cisco or UNIX certification is an advantage
