Systems Administrator

- Studies: College/University Degree (Computer Science)
- Experience: Min.3 year in a relevant environment
- Experience using and operating in a WINDOWS environment;
- Strong knowledge of data structures; End-to-end, full life-cycle DBA experience,
- Expertise with building & rebuilding databases (fresh or from backups),
- Expertise with table/index design, expertise with performance tuning,
- Experience with administrating backups and cleanup tasks,
- Project management skills, strong design skills & experience with advanced database clustering/mirroring technologies, maintaining data integrity and cleaning up bad/old data will also be a priority, very detail oriented (for change management), multi-tasking capabilities.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking,
- Windows 2000/XP operating systems (security updates, account management),
- Good knowledge Windows 2000/2003 Server (working knowledge of Active Directory would be a plus),
- Working knowledge of Linux,
- Comfortable with all aspects of system administration
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle emergency situations,
-Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff,
- Ability to work productively in a team;
- Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly
