- The System Administrator develops and maintains all hardware and software systems in the company.
- You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of servers, workstations and other systems.
- You will also conduct system analysis and development to keep our systems current with changing technologies.
- The System Administrator is a key technical resource, providing advice, training and technical support.
- In addition, the System Administrator works closely with other technical staff in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development.
- As a System Administrator you will offer support to the development department, to create and maintain the testing or deployment environment for the internaly developed applications for various customers.
- Install and maintain company's IT equipments (network equipment, servers, workstations);
- Ensure the proper operations (reliability and availability) of the IT infrastructure;
- Hardware and software installations and upgrades;
- Network administration and applications deployment;
- Technical documentation management for IT infrastructure;
- Assure the appropriate contact with ISP, and HW providers;
- Knowledge of standard backup infrastructures;
- Firewall, DNS, WEB, Mail, DHCP servers administration;
- Knowledge of cryptography tools (e.g. secure shell, OpenSSL, IPSec, VPNs);
- Understanding of the administration of SQL database servers such as (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL ORACLE) and secure web servers such as Apache, Tomcat.
