- Design, implement and integrate flexible and scalable application platforms, capable to provide to our customers services at highest standards of usability, performance and availability.
- Create test cases for new applications and services and contribute to test plan execution.
- Analyze/create requirements for the hardware that is necessary for various platforms.
- Perform capacity and performance management activities for various production systems.
- Monitor commercial services and recommend upgrades and optimization solutions meant to ensure that SLA’s are achieved.
- Assess new technologies and service architectures and provide feedback and recommendations.
- Provide advanced support (3rd level) for various application platforms. Analyze and solve issues, escalate if required.
- Assists internal clients in defining specifications, analyze new service concepts and provide input about solutions and implementation.
- Create project plans, effectively lead and manage technical projects throughout the organization.
- Coordinate necessary resources (internal and external) relating to planning and execution of projects.
- Good knowledge of Linux, Solaris and Microsoft technologies.
- Experience in environments with mid- and high-end server implementations.
- Good knowledge of databases, email and web architecture.
- Familiar with the specific aspects of information security and concepts like capacity management and performance management for application systems.
- Good knowledge in IP networking and understanding of GSM and UMTS network architecture.
- Ability to quickly learn new disciplines and technologies.
- Good communication skills for an efficient collaboration with other groups.
- Experience in managing large scale/multiple projects.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment.
