On behalf of our client CosmoCom, we are looking for system engineers that may take up this challenging role in our fast growing centers in Frankfurt and Paris.
This position carries responsibility for design, on-site installation, customization, and ongoing support of VoIP-based contact center platforms in enterprise and telco networks. - Work with customers and partners to perform design, installation, and technical support for contact center solutions built upon general purpose Microsoft-based server platforms and standards-based VoIP equipment.
- Design and configure advanced call center applications, including ACD, IVR, CTI, Predictive Dialing, and call recording, e-mail, web chat and collaboration.
- Review designs of complicated TCP/IP-based networks used for real-time VoIP and non-real-time communications.
- Technical details include engineering network (both IP and TDM) based solutions, connectivity, routing, load balancing, and capacity planning. Systems to be installed on top of Microsoft operating system
- Proficiency in French or German according with the location (Paris or Frankfurt)
- B.A or B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science ,Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years (and preferably more) experience in at least two of the following areas:
- MS server technologies (MS security, Active Directory, IIS, SQL, Exchange, etc.)
- IP Networking
- VoIP - would be an asset
- Independent and self motivated
- Ability to visualize complex systems
- Previous experience in Field Service or Customer Support is an advantage
- Experience as a software developer is a plus
- Proven knowledge in many of the areas below:
- Microsoft O/S (Win2k Server / Adv Server / Win 2003 Server)
- MS Platform resilient deployment (Cluster / Load Balance)
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft SQL , T-SQL
- Routers, Switches
- IP Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SMTP)
- Firewall / NAT
- Protocol Analyzer (Ethereal, Sniffer, NetMon)
- PC Hardware configuration(LAN Adapters, SCSI, RAID, FibreChannel)
- VoIP Signaling (SIP & H.323) & troubleshooting
- PSTN Telephony (ISDN, CAS, SS7) / CTI
- HTML, XML, VB Script / JavaScript
- .NET / VB / C# / C++
