- Design of complete architecture solutions including network, operating systems, databases, and application architecture
- Analysis of technical requirements concerining network topologies, operating systems, RDBMS and application
- Design and documentation of system architecture and other technical specifications
- Knowledge of coding of business applications (Web applications, Data bases)
- Reporting to the Application SI Business Unit Manager
- 5 years of knowledge and experience in:
- J2EE , Java Core Patterns, EJB, Web Services, UML
- Javascript, JSP/JSF, XML, HTML, SQL, PL/SQL
- Application servers like JOnAS, JBoss, Websphere, BEA Weblogic, Oracle Application Server or other application servers (at least one of those with practical experience)
- Databases like ORACLE, Informix, PostgreSQL, DB2 (at least one of those with practical experience)
- UNIX, Linux, Windows
- Network topologies and network security
- At least Bachelor degree in computer science or other related engineering profile
- Understanding of internet application technologies including HTML, XML, internet protocols, networking, firewalls, Web Server configuration, internet application architectures based upon Java technology and Internet security are needed
- Ability to speak and write in English
- Analytical and synthetic skills
- Ability to work with challenging activities
- Communication skills and ability to work within a team
An additional asset will be:
- Hands on Experience with most of the following technologies and frameworks like: JDBC & connection pooling, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, Tapestry, Ant, XML/XSL Parsers, other Apache/Jakarta Open Source tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of XSL, XSLT, STRUTS, RMI/CORBA
- Maven, Ant, JUnit, TestNG, OpenSTA, Drools
- Experience with Hibernate, Toplink, iBATIS;
- Knowledge of concepts of Model Driven Architecture (MDA)
- Knowledge of digital signature and PKI
- Network and system security
