For one of our clients, a world-leading supplier of Identification and Border Management Software Systems, we are looking for an experienced System Administrator.
You will be responsible with the maintenance of the development cloud architecture, Weblogic and Tomcat administration, auto build and deployment using Jenkins and Archiva and databases administration and development.
As a System Administrator, your tasks will be the following:
· Participation in System Architecture planning and design
· Administration of a cloud computing architecture using HP infrastructure (VMWare vCloud, VMWare ESXI, VMWare vCenter): virtual machine deployment and tuning
· Develop scripts to do automatic build, tests and deployment in testlab and store artifacts on Archiva artifacts server; integrate SonarQube in build scripts
· Deployment and tuning of Weblogic and Tomcats.
· Configuration management of servers infrastructure using puppet
· Database development according to projects specifications
· Travel to customer sites globally to install the new systems and train system administrators following deployment.
· 3+ years experience of system administration of Linux
· 2+ years experience administering Tomcat and Weblogic, Apache
· 2+ years experience with deployment tools like Jenkins and Bamboo, Archiva
· Experience with source code control tools is a must, preferably with GIT.
· 1+ years using Docker
· 1+ years experience with VMWare
· Experience with relational databases is an asset
· Knowledge about VMWare vCloud, VMWare ESXI, VMWare vCenter is an asset
· Knowledge about storage administration is an asset (3PAR or MSA)
· Experience with system installation (including operating system and databases) and patching
· Backup/Restore knowledge
· BASH scripting language experience is an asset
· Strong communication skills in English (French is an asset)
· Good problem solving and analytical skills
· Strong team player
· Make-it-work attitude under firm deadlines
· Ability to work under pressure
· Willing to travel abroad twice a year.
